A spearman who dislikes ceremony, preferring instead to fight like a wild beast. He is a callous man who would kill civilians to silence witnesses if that was his mission, but conversely is a rather good-humored fellow while off-duty. He has a caring, older brother-like disposition.

Barbed Spear of Piercing Death – Gae Bolg
Type: Anti-Personnel Noble Phantasm
A spear that absolutely pierces the opponent’s heart when it is thrust.

Due to this effect, the attack is made impossible to evade.

Cú Chulainn is a poor loser. He can continue fighting even with mortal wounds, and will survive as long as he does not take catastrophic damage.
The ability to retreat from battle.
Thanks to both of these skills, Cú Chulainn shows his true worth in large battles, rather than in single duels. He personally loves single combat, however, so this trait is not particularly obvious.
Bond Level 4
A bearer of the Norse magical crest – runes.
The warriors of Dún Scáith are trained in all martial arts. None are mere spearmen–
Perhaps because his master Scathach advocated this policy, Cú Chulainn is also versed in rune magic. Despite being a first-class adept, he finds them bothersome and does not use them often.
Bond Level 5
Setanta was his childhood name.
“Cú Chulainn” is Irish for “Culann’s Hound.” At a young age, Setanta killed the watchdog of the smith Culann. Out of obligation, he swore, “If this hound has a pup, I will rear it myself, so that it serves you with the same loyalty. Until then, I shall guard you with my life.”
As an adult, Cú Chulainn joined the Red Branch Knights, who protected King Ulster.
Due to the conditions of his relationship with a certain woman, he traveled to the magical realm known as Dún Scáith, the Land of Shadow.
After overcoming many trails, Cú Chulainn arrived at Dún Scáith. Its lord Scathach took an interest in him, and imparted her knowledge upon him. Thus, Cú Chulainn came to master a variety of magical and martial arts.
